Since August
Where have I been? What have I been doing? Since becoming one little boys mother last august, time has flown by. While enjoying motherhood more than I ever anticipated I've also been busy in the studio, and resumed teaching at the Corcoran this semester. Between those items I'm afraid my blogging got buried. (for shame!) It's been so long I don't know where to begin. I love lists, I'll start there, here's a few items I've covered in the last few months...
A three month cold
Winter hibernation
thirteen daily rounds paddy cakes
buying bigger diapers
dry skin
teaching at the NMWA
First tooth
peek-a-boo
Termites
Home shows
buying bigger diapers
flooding basement
crawling
something about a pigging going to market
flat tire
bubble baths and rubber ducks
printing at the Torpedo Factory
buying bigger diapers
painting
observing my garden wake up
hours of watching Mr. Man discover life around him...
There you have it.
Here's a shot of one of my latest prints titled Since August. It's a 12" x 18" linocut, with an acrylic painted base. I love it.
