eat - sleep - drink - sketch
We headed north for the weekend to celebrate turkey day with my family. I remembered to make the "Why we are thankful book" that I've made the past few years. I make it yearly for all those present at the feast to sign and reflect but forgot to snap a picture of it. rats. We were somewhat creative over the weekend between eating, sleeping, drinking, and repeat... Squeezed in a few sketches.
I'm a spirited artist and instructor with lots of energy. Currently I'm developing paintings, prints, books and collages that are inspired and developed in my sketchbooks. This fall I'll be offering a sketchbook development course at the Corcoran, and a workshop in Portland, Oregon in hopes to pass along what I've learned through working in mine. You do an amazing job of chasing after that boy all day and maintianing some sort of sanity and ability to focus on your work. Love you.
